Those systems can perceive their surroundings today with remarkable precision. Cameras identify objects, radarmeasures distances, and LiDAR creates highly detailed environmental models. Thevehicle’s perception appears comprehensive and reliable.

SoLPOINT is launching within the framework of the ESA NAVISP program to develop innovative services for autonomous driving. An Early Warning Service detects disruptions in satellite navigation (PNT) and mobile network connections at an early stage and reports them to vehicles via Road Side Units. Validation drives on German highways will test the real-time detection of jamming and spoofing disruptions.

Automated driving requires precise and reliable data – especially in limited visibility or complex traffic situations. In the #IMoGer research project, we are working with partners on the integration of independent infrastructure such as stationary sensors to increase safety. DiMOS contributes experience in real-time situational awareness, data validation, and safety mechanisms. The project meeting at DLR in Berlin focused on the technological and societal aspects of automated mobility.

DiMOS is pleased to announce the successful completion of the ALMODA project, in which the company acted as consortium leader. The project aimed to establish a cross-border data space for secure real-time communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) data using artificial intelligence (AI) to drive mobility 4.0 in the Alpine region.

The increase in jamming and spoofing attacks on GNSS signals significantly increases the risk for autonomous and safety-critical systems. The ability to localise oneself precisely and reliably is a basic requirement for automated driving, drone operations and many other CCAM (Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility) applications. Over the past few years, the Gaia-X 4 AMS project has focussed on the question of how trustworthy and sovereign data spaces based on the Gaia-X principle can enable new mobility services. At the final event, these concepts were demonstrated live for the first time - with practical driving demonstrations, presentations and panel discussions, including the formation of an emergency lane by autonomous vehicles.

In the IMoGer project, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and 80 partners are developing a new generation of modular, autonomous electric vehicles. The goal: to combine public transport and last-mile parcel delivery – reducing traffic and increasing urban efficiency.
